Key Responsibilities

As a Legionella Control Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining water hygiene standards at various sites across the region. Your duties will include:

  • Inspecting cold water storage tanks, outlets, and hot water systems;
  • Sampling CWSTs, cold outlets, and hot water systems;
  • Cleaning and chlorinating cold water storage tanks and their associated down systems;
  • Completing site-specific Legionella risk assessment review reports;
  • Conducting 6-monthly review of sites;

You will work closely with our team to ensure all sites meet water hygiene regulations. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • PPM store visits delivered within agreed timescales;
  • Flexibility regarding working nationally, day-shift, and night-shift;
  • Tank inspection experience;
  • Water sampling experience;
  • Legionella awareness and risk assessment experience;
  • Experience with clean and chlorination of water tanks;
  • IT skills;
  • Strong communication skills;

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a basic salary of £32,141, 45 hours per week, overtime pay, company van usage, pension scheme, and 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
