A leading UK hospital is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join its team as a Senior Specialist.

Located in London, this hospital provides innovative care for complex conditions, including HIV-related conditions and neurorehabilitation services. The facility has expanded its services to cater to individuals experiencing homelessness and compromised health, offering targeted step-down programs for holistic recovery.

As a Senior Speech Therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive, trauma-informed therapies to enhance independence, improve communication skills, and facilitate community reintegration.

This permanent, part-time position (22.5 hours) presents an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by social stigma and insufficient specialist care in a dynamic and fulfilling role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration with the HCPC as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Registration (or eligibility for) with the RCSLT
  • Evidence of clinical interest in HIV, neurological, and rehabilitation services
  • Notable experience working at a level equivalent to top NHS AfC Band 6 or higher
