Job Title: Registered Nurse for Complex Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Complex Care Domiciliary team at Bluebird Care Mendip. This role involves providing specialized care to patients with complex medical conditions in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex health conditions in their homes.
  • Care Planning: Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Medication and Equipment Management: Administer medications, manage medical equipment, and perform clinical procedures as required.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in health status.
  • Patient Education: Provide education and support to patients and their families to help them manage their conditions effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a current UK Nursing license and PIN.
  • Experience in complex care and injuries, critical care, or similar settings is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a variety of complex medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
