Key Responsibilities- Provide expert leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams on suicide prevention and clinical risk management.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive approach to suicide prevention and risk reduction across the trust.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a whole-system approach to suicide prevention and risk management.
- Lead the Family Liaison Team to provide support to families and carers affected by suicide and non-fatal incidents.
- Develop and deliver training programs on suicide prevention and clinical risk management for staff across the trust.
- Contribute to the development of clinical research and practice development initiatives related to suicide prevention and risk management.
- Current professional registration as a nurse or allied health professional.
- Considerable experience of working as a senior clinician in mental health.
- Experience of working in a suicide prevention role or capacity.
- Experience of collaborating with a wide range of agencies, including patients and carers.
- Theoretical knowledge base of suicide and clinical risk assessment.
- Working knowledge of national nursing and mental health strategy and policy.
