About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled clinician to join our team as the Lead for Suicide Prevention and Clinical Risk. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for coordinating and leading our approach to suicide prevention and clinical risk assessment and management at both strategic and clinical levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed suicide prevention principles across clinical pathways, service developments, and strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with partners at local, regional, and national levels to progress a community approach to suicide prevention
  • Provide expert leadership, advice, and support to multidisciplinary teams, patients, and carers
  • Develop and co-ordinate implementation of the Trust approach to the reduction and harm minimisation of self-harm and suicide prevention
  • Act as an ambassador for the Trust in local, regional, and national suicide prevention activity
