The Senior Technology Engineer will work as part of Research Technology and Innovation Teams to perform technology research and demonstration tasks within the Delka Research Technology & Innovation department.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of our autonomy capability and be responsible for mission systems aspects of our uncrewed systems.

">

You will employ sound systems engineering practice and play a role in ensuring technology developments meet safety, environmental, security regulations and best practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

">
  • Researching and demonstrating technology, as directed to support Delkia research and product development projects.
  • Collating, preparing and maintaining research documentation, products and services in a configured manner to support company product / service development.
  • Supporting engineering reviews and assurance activities.
  • Assisting in the promotion of Research and Technology development activities.
  • Participating in regular reporting to line management, Technical Manager and the wider business.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, flexible working, training and development opportunities, and excellent company standards.

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • An engineering, computing, science or mathematics qualification with degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver technology solutions in accordance with requirements / knowledge objectives.
  • Resilience to uncertainty.
  • Interest and evident skills in technology research and or demonstration.
