Supportive Learning Facilitator

We are recruiting a Primary SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) in both mainstream and specialist settings. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with primary-aged children (Key Stage 1 & 2) to support their learning, development, and emotional well-being in inclusive and specialised educational environments.
Position Details:
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Long-term role with the potential for a permanent position.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly those with ASC and MLD.
- A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to supporting young learners with complex needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to adapt to both mainstream and specialist school environments.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
