About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at Macstaff. As a Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and analysing project programmes to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Development and Maintenance: Develop detailed project programmes, including all phases from initiation to completion.
  • Project Programme Management: Maintain and update project programme based on actual progress and changes in project scope.
  • Critical Path Analysis: Capture and record as-planned versus as-built information, demonstrate the impact of delay events, and add any new or modified tasks and sequences.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Construction Management, Project Management Qualifications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project programming, with at least 3-5 years in a senior scheduling role.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in programme software predominantly Elecosoft Power Project, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource levelling techniques.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Effective communication and people skills.
  • Attributes: Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Full UK Driving Licence
