Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to support our Grocery Senior National Account Manager in achieving set targets for the Grocery Channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships, building cross-functional relationships within defined customers, and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the SNAM in ensuring the Grocery Channel achieves set targets, including forecasting, production, and analysis of sales reports and account administration.
  • Manage and develop customer relationships at the relevant levels and build cross-functional relationships within defined customers.
  • Achieve and deliver agreed annual business targets for Sainsburys, including net sales, gross margin, and volume by product and category group, with management of trade spend and ROI.
  • Manage day-to-day sales operations across all accounts within the direction set by the SNAM and develop Joint Business Plans within Sainsburys to drive customer commitment to execution.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the FMCG retail industry.
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant sales role.
  • IT skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Financial literacy.
  • Full driving license.
