We are excited to be supporting a prestigious London-based university in their search for a temporary Disability Advisor. This full-time role (35 hours per week) offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week based on-site and the remainder remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer dyslexia screening processes and facilitate access to non-medical support for students.
  • Process Disabled Students' Allowance applications efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain systems for specialist disability-related funding.
  • Collaborate with Mental Health Advisory and Counselling Services as needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in higher education or professional disability advice, strong relationship-building skills, and confidence in liaising with various stakeholders. A deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities is essential, as is the ability to advocate for those with disabilities.

This role requires excellent organisational and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. Knowledge of GDPR and data protection procedures is also highly desirable.

About the Opportunity
