At Avery Healthcare's Priory Court Care Home in Stamford, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated care team on night shifts. We offer a competitive salary of £25,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including excellent training and development opportunities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high standards of personal care, supporting the care team in delivering person-centred care plans, and ensuring the wellbeing of each resident is prioritised at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, and ensuring that new needs are met.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
