About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Sleep Physiology Manager to join our team at Kings College Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering sleep physiology testing within the Variety Children's Hospital.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric sleep physiology and excellent leadership skills. They will work closely with the Paediatric Respiratory Physiology Research Group at King's College London to develop and implement effective strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with the Paediatric Respiratory Physiology Research Group regarding operational management, procurement, maintenance, service development and policy goals.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Working collaboratively with the Service Management Team to ensure effective process implementation.
Main Duties
  1. Ensuring adherence to the 6-week diagnostic target for Paediatric Respiratory Physiology and Sleep Services.
  2. Leading the recruitment, training, and development of staff for the Paediatric Respiratory Physiology Service.
  3. Managing the ordering and stock control of consumables for the Paediatric Service.
Requirements
  • BSC Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 years of experience in respiratory physiology.
  • Relevant professional registration, e.g. RCCP/ARTP/AHCS.

Salary Range: £54,320 - £60,981 per annum (including HCA).
