SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an exceptional all-through SEN School in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Assist in delivering high-quality educational activities, tailored to meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • Support the Class Teacher in maintaining a well-organized and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and development of students with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English Language.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
  • Previous experience working with pupils with SEN desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or ability to commute to Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
  • Must have a Full-Time Right to Work status.
