SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an exceptional all-through SEN School near St Neots, Cambridgeshire. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, promoting their cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build warm, caring relationships with students to create a safe and supportive environment.
  • Encourage personal development and independence in students, maintaining high expectations of behaviour.
  • Assist in providing high-quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities that help students reach their full potential.
  • Support the Class Teacher with daily classroom activities and ensure smooth operation.
  • Respond to the changing needs of the school and adapt to various tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English Language.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
  • Previous experience working with pupils with SEN desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or ability to commute to St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
  • Must have a Full-Time Right to Work status.
