About the Role

As a Dietitian at Elysium Healthcare, you will be working in a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 8-18 years. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver assessment, formulation, and treatment to service users and their families/carers.

The role involves managing a complex caseload, creating individualised nutritional plans based on each patient's health concerns, goals, and dietary restrictions. You will also contribute to the development of specialist treatment plans and pathways, maintaining close contact with local community teams. As a key link between the nursing team and the catering department, you will lead on the management of the dining room and nutrition support strategies on the unit.

Elysium Healthcare offers a range of training opportunities to help you grow and achieve your career aspirations. The successful candidate will have the ability to carry out one-to-one nutrition counselling sessions, conduct pre-admission screenings, and liaise with the hospital's catering department to ensure menus are reviewed regularly. Additionally, you will provide weekly progress reviews and feedback to the multi-disciplinary team in ward rounds.
