Nutrition Specialist Position

At West Sussex County Council, we strive to provide a caring environment for vulnerable children and young people in our residential homes. As a Nutrition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking nutritious meals that meet their needs.

About the Job:

  • Salary: £25,584 - £25,992 per annum (pro-rata £12,792 - £12,996) plus a Crawley Weighting Allowance.
  • 50 hours per week, part-time basis.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Opportunity to design menus and train children on meal planning and cooking.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognized Food Handling and Hygiene qualification, Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • NVQ Level 2 in catering or equivalent qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
