About the RoleAs Head of SHEQ, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining a robust SHEQ performance regime. You will lead on all aspects of SHEQ performance, ensuring continuous improvement to in-house standards, systems, and procedures. You will be responsible for implementing legislative compliance and best practices across teams, shaping company strategy, and ensuring the company is a leader in SHEQ in the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
- Develop and maintain a robust SHEQ performance regime
- Lead on SHEQ training and awareness programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SHEQ integration into business operations
We are looking for a highly experienced SHEQ professional with a strong track record in leading SHEQ teams. You will have a NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) and be an ISO Internal Auditor (desirable). You will have at least 10 years' experience in an operational SHEQ role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior SHEQ/Quality role.
