We are seeking a highly skilled Year 2 Teacher to join our team at the Wayman Learning Trust school in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. As a specialist in Key Stage 1 education, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education programs that meet the needs of Year 2 students.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting and excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality education programs that meet the needs of Year 2 students.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
