IT Support Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to join our team at Public Health Wales. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical and specialist IT support to our staff, while developing, maintaining, and supporting our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical and specialist IT support to our staff, including troubleshooting IT issues and escalating to senior technical staff as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and support our IT systems, including configuration management and asset registration.
- Work autonomously to research and implement new technologies to improve our IT systems and processes.
- Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to our staff on IT-related matters, including data security and governance.
- Relevant degree-level qualification in IT or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, with a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with staff at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of relevant NHS standards and legal requirements relating to Information Governance and Security.
