Operational Leadership Role

We seek a seasoned Operational Supervisor to oversee our M&E Maintenance Technicians, Incident Support, and Recovery Teams on the M25 DBFO Network.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the Dartford River Crossing. Your expertise will be invaluable in managing vital maintenance and operational activities, with opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all operational aspects and administration of the directly employed workforce, contractors, and resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety and quality and environment standards within a highways context.
  • Participating in the production of risk assessments and method statements.
  • Management of Depot fleet, including compliance with Drivers Hours recording, Vehicle Defect reporting, and analysis of Fleet Reports.
  • Implementing all toolbox talks and ensuring staff are conversant with the operation of all electrical/mechanical plant within the Dartford River Crossing.
Requirements

Essential qualities and experience include:

  • CSCS card holder – Supervisor
  • Previous experience in highway maintenance programs delivered to cost target and time.
  • Competent user of IT systems
  • Current UK driving licence.
