Job Description

The Integrated Healthcare Service delivers mental health, physical health, pharmacy, and clinical substance misuse services to improve wellbeing and support better outcomes.

Responsibilities
This role requires a strong understanding of evidence-based nursing practice, promoting quality and outcome-driven practice on a daily basis. You will maintain effective case management services, ensuring continuity of treatment and care throughout the patient's pathway while detained in prison. The successful candidate will also participate in managerial and professional clinical supervision programs, supervising junior staff and implementing effective patient-centered care planning tools.

Qualifications and Experience
We are seeking a registered NMC-qualified nurse with postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years' experience at Band 5 is required, along with knowledge of current issues facing prison/offender healthcare. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage complex and challenging behavior. This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
