Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Waste Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an estimated salary of $95,000 - $130,000 per year and provides a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nuclear decommissioning, with experience in developing and implementing waste management strategies, plans, and procedures. You will be responsible for conducting technical assessments, risk evaluations, and feasibility studies to support project decision-making.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in radioactive waste management, with a strong understanding of UK licensed sites and regulations.
  • Strong technical leadership and expertise in nuclear waste management, including waste characterization, treatment, storage, and disposal.
  • Ability to develop and implement waste management strategies, plans, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

You will also be expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
