Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Role Overview
The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will play a key role in supporting the business with budgeting and forecasting, month-end reporting, and audit close. This position will drive commercially beneficial decisions for the business, taking into account financial and non-financial aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual business planning process.
- Understand non-financial data cost drivers and work with the business to ensure integrity of data feeding into reporting.
- Conduct detailed analysis on emerging risks and opportunities, variances, and other areas of interest.
- Prepare credible monthly forecasts for areas of accountability, ensuring the financial consequences of planned outputs are correctly reflected and balanced.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS qualified.
- Ability to articulate a position and make recommendations that enable leadership teams to make strategic and operational decisions based on reliable and accurate information.
- Comfortable not only advising, but constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
