Job Title: Legal Team Leader

AJ Chambers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Team Leader to join their team in Guildford. As a key member of the firm's administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to Partners and fee earners, ensuring the smooth operation of the practice area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary management and coordination to ensure timely updates on meeting arrangements
  • Room booking and meeting coordination, including confirmation of attendees, technology, refreshments, and catering
  • Travel bookings and submission of relevant information in advance
  • File management and maintenance
  • Supervision of Client Services Administrators' record keeping and general filing tasks
  • Effective task management and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations

Management Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of direct team with a focus on service delivery and excellence
  • Direct and effective management, communication, client engagement, and administration of staff
  • Resourcing and absence management
  • Performance monitoring and competency development
  • Participation in staff one-to-one meetings and annual performance appraisals
  • Interviews for new staff and adequate team cover

Requirements:

  • Solid PA experience in Real Estate in a Law Firm
  • Managerial or mentoring experience
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Hybrid working arrangement (1-2 days from home)
