Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics Position

Job Role Overview
The Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics position at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers the opportunity to work at a high level of clinical expertise, participating in a non-resident on-call rota and working effectively at Junior Consultant level with Senior Consultant support and distant supervision available at all times.
The role would suit applicants who have completed or nearly completed a recognised anaesthetic specialist training program, including those who already possess a CCT in Anaesthesia. The post offers the chance to increase general anaesthetic experience prior to taking up a consultant post and to develop or further an interest in a subspecialty of Anaesthesia, excluding Cardiothoracics.
Main Responsibilities
The main duties of the Senior Clinical Fellow will include:
- Achieving a high level of clinical expertise in Anaesthetics
- Participating in a non-resident on-call rota
- Working effectively at Junior Consultant level with Senior Consultant support and distant supervision available at all times

Requirements
Applicants must be registered with the GMC with a current license to practice at time of appointment.
It is a requirement for skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years.
