About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tumour Marker Specialist to lead our Tumour Marker Specialist Service at North West London Pathology. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to make a significant contribution to our team and help us deliver excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Tumour Marker Specialist Service, maintaining and developing hCG assays used for the National Choriocarcinoma Service commissioned by NHS England.
  • Maintain and develop all tumour marker assays and services, leading associated R&D and participating in Scientist Training Programme and other teaching initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience at a supervisory level in specialist area with proven experience of training Scientific, Medical and technical staff.
  • High level of knowledge of all aspects of specialist subject with evidence of active Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Record of training at all levels with ability to carry out development projects.
