We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team at The Langham, London. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Provide courteous, prompt, and efficient service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Luggage and Parcel Management: Arrange for the delivery and collection of luggage, parcels, and mail, and liaise with the Front Office team.
- Item Management: Ensure items are correctly recorded and stored safely if necessary.
- Guest Requests: Assist guests with various requests and enquiries, such as restaurant reservations, transportation, and obtaining tickets for social events.
- Message and Delivery Management: Take prompt and accurate messages and deliveries, and ensure they are handled efficiently.
- Local Knowledge: Maintain excellent knowledge of the local area, theatre shows, restaurants, and other facilities that guests may require.
- Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service skills and a real understanding of 5-star luxury environment service requirements.
- Communication Skills: Have excellent communication skills, in English language, both written and verbal, and one other language.
- IT and Systems Skills: Possess strong IT and systems skills, including Microsoft Office, GoConcierge, and Opera.
- Personal Presentation: Maintain immaculate personal presentation.
- Golden Keys: Possession of Golden Keys is advantageous.
- Pro-Active Behaviour: Demonstrate pro-active behaviour and lead by example at all times.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Possess the ability to solve problems and make balanced decisions.
