High Net Worth Underwriter Opportunity
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a High Net Worth Underwriter to join our client, a leading insurance company in the UK market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting Art and Private Client products, working across both direct and broker distribution channels, and Household, Motor and Travel insurance policies.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful and growing insurer, with a wide range of development opportunities on offer, and the chance to work with a brand new, state-of-the-art underwriting platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed set targets each month, including profitability, GWP, conversion, and retention.
- Develop sales skills and appreciation of sales and underwriting strategy, in collaboration with wider teams and regions.
- Negotiate with internal and external parties, and identify key contacts within brokers.
- Challenge non-standard underwriting decisions, leveraging the expertise of Product Specialists and Underwriting Managers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive profitable growth.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in Personal Lines Underwriting is essential.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ideal candidate will have Dip CII qualification.
