We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Leader to join our team at Police ICT as a Senior Cyber Liaison Officer for the National Management Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Cyber Liaison Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy for the National Management Centre.
- Provide operational coordination and support to the Cyber Liaison Team, ensuring the effective delivery of cyber security services.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of outputs from the Cyber Liaison Team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Represent the Cyber Liaison Team at internal and external engagements, including briefings to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to the Cyber Liaison Team, supporting their growth and development in cyber security.
- Ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of National Management Centre services and how to interact with them to achieve the best value.
- Capture and escalate stakeholder feedback, challenges, and opportunities in a timely manner to enable continuous service improvement.
- Coach and support the Cyber Liaison Team to grow their knowledge and skills in cyber security.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a cyber security environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and situations.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to focus, multitask, and effectively manage workload.
- Highly skilled negotiating and problem-solving skills, with the ability to produce high-quality work without close supervision.

- Experience of customer-facing roles and knowledge of business drivers to deliver relevant, effective, efficient, and quality service to stakeholders.
- Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV3) and Security Check (SC Clearance) required for the role.
- Full, valid driving license and use of a vehicle for business travel, with mileage reimbursement in accordance with HMRC.
- Broad cyber security awareness and practical experience in operational cyber security environments.
