Property Repairs Operative

We are seeking a skilled Property Repairs Operative to join our Property Services Team at Rugby Borough Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of building maintenance and repair tasks across various trades.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out multi-trade repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting and decorating
- Work on flooring, fencing, and other building maintenance tasks
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative when required
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a strong focus on health and safety
- Proficiency in at least several of the following trades: multi-trade repairs, flooring, fencing, painting and decorating, carpentry, and plumbing
- Basic IT skills (in-house training will be provided)
- Ability to work in adverse conditions and flexibility to work overtime when required
- Full valid UK driving license
- Ability to provide own basic tools
- 35 days annual leave (including 8 Bank Holidays and 3 extra days normally applied at Christmas)
