Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive clinical service to pre-school and school-aged children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage caseload independently, maintaining close liaison with Nurseries, Schools, Primary Care Teams, and other Community and Specialist Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Provide training, direct and indirect support to Nurseries, Schools, and Health Professionals.
  • Be a member of the Speech and Language Therapy Team, providing clinical support to Speech and Language Therapy Assistants as necessary.

Requirements
  • SLT Graduate/HCPC reg or working towards.
  • Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist (desirable).
  • Relevant paediatric experience at undergraduate/post graduate level.
  • Relevant experience of working in school and pre-school settings and local authority Children Centres (desirable).
  • Experience of using Systmone for client record keeping (desirable).
