Paediatric Speech Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Speech and Language Therapy Team, you will provide a comprehensive clinical service to pre-school and school-aged children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
Main Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of children with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with Nurseries, Schools, Primary Care Teams, and other Community and Specialist Speech and Language Therapists to provide integrated and relevant care packages
• Provide training, direct and indirect support to Nurseries, Schools, and Health Professionals
• Work closely with Speech and Language Therapy Assistants to provide clinical support as needed

Requirements
• SLT Graduate/HCPC registration or working towards
• Relevant paediatric experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level
• Knowledge of assessment tools relevant to locality clinics, preschool, and school-aged children
• Knowledge of national NHS, SLT education policies, and procedures
• Evidence of awareness of the principles of clinical governance/audit
