ABA Tutor/ Psychology Graduate Required

A dynamic and supportive independent school for girls and boys aged 2 to 11 years is seeking an experienced ABA tutor or psychology graduate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Autism and special needs, as well as teaching or tutoring qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an individual education programme based on the scientific theory of Applied Behaviour Analysis (Verbal Behaviour)
  • Work collaboratively with the teacher, consultant, supervisors, and therapists to achieve the learner's full potential
  • Demonstrate a commitment to working within the organisational procedures of a Christian independent school

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Autism and special needs
  • Teaching or tutoring qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant field, RBT, or Psychology Qualifications)
  • Experience of working with children in formal or informal settings

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new specialist service being created within the school for children with autism or other related difficulties. The post holder will be working as part of a team to deliver a programme that will enable the learner to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
