About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Finance Support to join our team at Derby City Council.

As a key member of our Fleet Management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet by managing financial administration, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.

You will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance our fleet's efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the raising of purchase orders, GRNs, and processing invoices for payment
  • Ensure all vehicle records are accurate and up-to-date on our Fleet Management system
  • Renew the Road Fund Licence for DCC fleet vehicles on a monthly basis
  • Perform a wide range of fleet and compliance-related administrative tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and visitors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication, administrative, and numerical skills
  • A proactive outlook, good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize a workload
  • Flexibility and a willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks to assist the overall Fleet operation
  • An understanding of the importance of accurate record keeping and its impact on Fleet compliance
