About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Membership Manager to oversee all aspects of membership for our Trade Association and Trade Association Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for renewals, new member recruitment, and record maintenance, as well as managing financial tasks and coordinating with our management accountants and auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee membership renewals and new member recruitment
- Manage financial tasks and coordinate with management accountants and auditors
- Organise internal meetings and track team progress
- Handle member inquiries and research potential new members
- Support events such as summits and conferences
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in a membership management role, ideally within a trade association or similar organisation
- Experience in event management, including organising small member events and supporting larger annual member events
- Some understanding of online accountancy packages, especially Xero
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices
