About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work efficiently to restock shelves, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Assist with receiving and processing deliveries, ensuring that all products are accurately received and stored.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and product presentation to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience for customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift and move products as needed, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
