Job Description

This role involves providing individualised support to people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs in their own homes. The purpose-built accommodation consists of individual apartments and purpose-built bungalows, catering to different levels of need.

Responsibilities include:

  • Following daily planners to ensure smooth day-to-day living
  • Assisting with financial expenditure, domestic support, and administration of medication
  • Providing personal care and meal planning/preparation as needed
  • Maintaining important relationships and supporting individuals to find new friendships

A key aspect of this role is encouraging participation in local community activities to enhance social inclusion. This may involve seeking out volunteering opportunities or further education access to promote growth and development.

Shift patterns vary, including 7am-2pm, 8am-3pm, 2pm-9pm, 3pm-10pm, and waking night shifts (9pm-7am). Working on a rota, you will be required to work weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and nights with planned time off.

The salary for this role is approximately £11.44 per hour.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
