Job Title: Special Educational Needs Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team at a fantastic Secondary School in Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and hold a National SENCo award (NASENCO).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead staff whilst co-ordinating support for students with SEN
  • Implementing classroom accommodations and creating an inclusive learning environment where every student is valued and empowered to succeed
  • Oversee relationships with parents, teachers, and external partners to ensure steady pupil progress
  • Review documentation, lead EHCP meetings with local authorities, and manage therapeutic interventions
