We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Lead to join our client on a significant nuclear project in the UK. This role will be based in their London office with hybrid working options and is expected to run through to the end of December, potentially extending to long-term.

Sizewell C is a groundbreaking infrastructure project that will play a critical role in the UK's energy future. As a Transformation Lead, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the project, overseeing key aspects of cost and change control processes.

  • Strategic leadership and line management of the Baseline and Change Management Function, ensuring effective team performance and efficiency.
  • Establishment of a robust Baseline and Change Management Framework, embedding it within SZC and promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Delivery and advancement of 'Digital by Default' for the Baseline and Change Management Function, driving innovation and process improvement.
  • Building and maintaining a high-performing team, providing direct line management and functional guidance to resources deployed into SZC delivery teams.
  • Accountability for timely production and quality of all month-end data sets and performance reports related to Baseline and Change Management, ensuring accurate insights and informed decision-making.
  • Promoting SZC as an exemplar in Baseline and Change Management through knowledge sharing, networking, and delivering presentations to the sector, enhancing its reputation and influence.
  • Effective management of stakeholders across SZC from Board to Delivery, fostering collaborative relationships and resolving issues promptly.

For this challenging role, we are seeking candidates with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, demonstrating academic excellence and relevance.
  • Extensive experience in baseline estimating, cost control, and change management, preferably within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
  • A proven track record of managing and leading estimating and change control functions in complex project environments, showcasing leadership skills and strategic thinking.

The estimated salary for this position is £85,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience, reflecting the complexity and importance of the role in the UK market.
