Automotive Inventory Manager

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Inventory Supervisor to join our team at Intec Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient management of our storage facility, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities- Order Documentation Management:
Collaborate with the Customer Service team to obtain all necessary paperwork for orders to be shipped. Ensure shipping documents are accurately prepared and provided to the warehouse team promptly. - Logistics and Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the stores/warehouse team by resolving system issues and communicating between departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods and information. - Handling Integration and Go-Live Issues:
Act as the primary point of contact for integration-related issues during system go-lives or updates, particularly those involving Oracle EBS. Collaborate with IT to identify, report, and resolve any system or integration issues that affect warehouse operations. - Oracle EBS System Usage:
Previous experience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems is beneficial and highly advantageous. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for administrative process improvements related to order handling, documentation, and communication, especially in the context of using Oracle EBS. - Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all inventory items using company systems or software. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory. - Receiving & Dispatch:
Oversee the receiving of goods, ensuring that all deliveries are correct and meet company standards. Prepare and process outgoing orders, ensuring accurate packaging, labelling, and dispatch. Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely shipment of goods. - Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the procurement, finance, and production teams to ensure stock availability and efficient supply chain operations.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in inventory, logistics, or supply chain management. Strong understanding of inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
