Financial Accountant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Chris Eastwood Automotive Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reports, managing budgets, and providing financial guidance to our dealership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to senior management
- Manage and reconcile balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and audit standards
- Provide financial advice and guidance to dealership teams, ensuring effective financial management and control
- Reconcile and attend vehicle and part stock-takes, ensuring accurate inventory levels
- Prepare files for internal and external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes
- Contribute to the development of annual budgets and re-forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Provide input into weekly forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accurate financial planning
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced management accounting position, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality results
