The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join its Upper GI Clinical Nurse Specialist team. As a member of this team, you will be working at Band 7 level to provide expert care to patients diagnosed with Upper GI cancer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in gastro-intestinal or cancer care and excellent organizational skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload to achieve a balance between clinical work and other aspects of the post.

Key responsibilities include working clinically with patients and carers from referral to discharge, providing nursing advice and support, and supporting junior members of the team. The successful candidate will need to have gained experience at Band 6 level or above in a similar setting.

Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum pro rata

Person Specification:

  • BSc/1st degree (Health Related) or equivalent qualification/training and experience

  • Working towards Master's Degree
