About the Role
Crown is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service to businesses across a wide range of industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow a specific sales territory through new business development and account management of existing customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their operations and identifying opportunities to secure new business, develop further business, or provide additional value.
- Play a key role in all stages of the sales process, including initial prospecting, appointment making, customer presentations, and demonstrations.
- Manage territory efficiently, planning and organizing sales activities to achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the Materials Handling sector.
- Strong new business development skills and excellent customer management skills.
- Personable and able to build strong relationships with customers.
- Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
- Commercial acumen, including market awareness, competitor awareness, and ability to identify opportunities.
- Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Cloud-based CRM systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, including territory planning, time management, and working to deadlines.
- Ability to meet individual sales targets by maximizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Full UK driving license.
