Job Description:

The Harmonic Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to join their team on a contract basis. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including cash flow, working capital, and month-end close procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Lead a team of 3 more junior accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure their work is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with the directors to ensure timely review of financial forecasts and provide strategic financial guidance.
  • Support the CFO with forecasting, variance analysis, and other FP&A tasks.
  • Ad-hoc tasks for the CFO and directors.

Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years of experience in finance, ideally 2 years managing a finance team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical thinker.
