Job Details

Goodwin Academy is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting positive behavior patterns, raising self-esteem, and improving independent working in pupils. Your primary responsibility will be to support students with their education and growth, ensuring that individual needs do not become a barrier to learning and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand individual students' needs and work with subject teachers to develop learning programs appropriate to those needs.
  • Provide support in class and through targeted interventions, which may involve small group work.
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify and address areas of need, and develop strategies to support students' learning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized learning plans.
