About the Job

Aspire People is seeking a talented Learning Support Assistant to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or other barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to students with SEN or additional needs, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create tailored lesson plans and ensure that all students have access to the curriculum.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting student well-being and achievement.
  • Support students in developing essential life skills, such as organisation, time management, and problem-solving.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure that students receive consistent support and guidance.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting, preferably in a secondary school environment.
  • A strong commitment to inclusivity and supporting students with SEN or additional needs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Organisational skills and adaptability, allowing you to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • A willingness to contribute to the school's mission and values, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is £24,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
