Vehicle Movement Specialist

We are seeking a Vehicle Movement Specialist to join our team in Liverpool, covering night shifts. This role plays a crucial part in daily and weekly route planning for vehicles and drivers.
Key Accountabilities:- Work closely with the central intermodal department to adhere to MSC's planning timelines.
- Process incoming calls and enquiries from customers, amending transport plans and routes as necessary.
- Brief drivers and liaise with them to ensure effective delivery and collection, and route changes.
- Maintain compliance with EU drivers' hours, digital tachographs, and WTD legislation.
- Support the Transport team in maintaining MEDLOG's core values.
- Plan trucks and trailers for service and inspection, as advised by the Fleet Department.
- Container haulage and route planning expertise.
- Detailed geographical knowledge of UK port infrastructure.
- Understanding of Drivers Hours and WTD Legislation.
- Ability to operate systems such as Truckcom, Destin8, and Port VBS.
- Strong administration skills and computer literacy.
The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
