About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of clinical research studies relating to HIV, Infectious Diseases, Sexual Health, ENT, Audiology, and Ophthalmology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients, plan, implement, and manage care in accordance with research protocols.
  • Recruit research patients/participants and work closely with the Principal Investigator/Chief Investigator/Research Team.
  • Provide specialist advice to patients/participants and carers regarding clinical research and specialist areas.
  • Supervise other members of the nursing team and support staff.
  • Work flexibly and maintain accurate documentation of care to facilitate continuity of care for patients transferred to other areas.
