Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing a portfolio of clinical research studies relating to HIV, Infectious Diseases, Sexual Health, ENT, Audiology, and Ophthalmology.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess patients, plan, implement, and manage care in accordance with research protocols.
  • Recruit research patients/participants and conduct specialist nursing procedures and treatments as directed by research protocols.
  • Provide specialist advice to patients/participants and carers regarding clinical research and specialist areas.
  • Supervise other members of the nursing team and support staff.
  • Work flexibly and maintain a safe clinical environment for all patients, visitors, and staff.
