We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Poundstretcher. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in shaping our financial future.

About the Role

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly reports, analyzing financial data, and developing models to provide insights into our strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly reports to assess performance and inform decision-making.
  • Data Interpretation and Insight Generation: Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate the financial impact of activities such as promotional campaigns, seasonal changes, and inventory decisions.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency Improvement: Analyze expenses, suggest improvements, and work with teams to streamline workflows.
  • Financial Modelling and Scenario Analysis: Develop models to provide insights into the financial outcomes of our strategic plans, product launches, and market expansions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver insightful financial presentations to our leadership team.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and 25 days' annual leave.
